Cultural heritage and energy efficiency: Market ready solutions for preserving historic buildings using innovative measures and technologies

Mindful of the need to improve the resilience of our vulnerable historic buildings, which are a major part of Europe´s cultural heritage and bring thousands of tourists to the continent every year, 3ENCULT will hold a seminar in Brussels (Belgium) offering practical guidance and advice to local governments and other owners and managers of historic buildings. This FREE workshop, which takes place during EU Sustainable Energy Week, will focus on identifying market ready technical solutions, outlining how these can be used in a protected environment.

Although each historic building is unique, some similarities and commonalities have allowed experts to outline potential approaches, which will be explored at the event. An update on market ready solutions for preservation, as well as a variety of innovative energy efficient and renewable energy options applicable to both historic buildings and protected monuments will be shared.
